My weekend has been an orgy of running and photography. My photography theme this weekend is wild birds (as opposed to snapping granny’s budgie) and my running (a mountain trail on Saturday evening and a nice easy dirt road run on Sunday morning) has been done to the tune of assorted cranes, wild geese, hadedas, herons and fish eagles. Inspiring stuff.
My first foray to shoot wild birds was done in subzero temperatures as the sun rose through the mist.
